Women are mostly the victims of hemroid due to carrying the baby or by giving birth. Often times it is also due to hereditary. Most people you already have symptoms makes it worse just by standing, lifting too much heavy objects or by being overweight.

It gets tough when you have to think about the pain of the swollen veins of your rectum or anus. Many get the disease due to increased pressure in the veins of their anus or rectum. The primary cause of this swelling is when you strain yourself from trying to have a bowel movement. That’s a big no-no. When this happens you’ll probably have a tender lump on the edge of your anus. This lump feeling is a sign of a hemroid. There are many types of hemroids and the worse it could get is when it bleeds.

What then is to do when this occurs? Here are few tips on hemroid relief.
• When it starts to hurt, you may take a warm bath to help you relieve yourself from the pain.
• You also have to make it a habit to clean your anus after each bowel movement. This will prevent from bacteria coming in and it also helps in calming your strained veins when defecating hard stool. Clean your anus by patting it gently with moist toilet paper or moistened pads like baby wipes.
• Another hemroid relief is to use ice packs to relieve from the swelling effect.
• You may also use hemroid relief creams like those sold in the market or use numbing ointments. These creams or ointments are best used for itching or pain.
• Pain relievers like ibuprofen or those over the counter pain relievers may be use to relieve the pain.

Before taking in any drugs or applying creams/ ointments, make sure you have paid your doctor a visit so you will have a safe hemroid relief medication.
